At Ghyll on Sunday, Kevin Fletcher took the crown as Club Senior Champion, shooting 81-12-69, with Andy Wilkinson (79-9-70) one stroke back in second spot, while Ray Duckworth (83-11-72) completed the leaderboard.
In the subsidiary Club Medal, for those of more tender years, Lee Drake (85-23-62) returned a score reminiscent of his namesake, Sir Francis, the most notorious maritime "bandit" of the 16th Century.

He was five shots clear of Steve R. Mortimer (78-11-67), deservedly losing three shots to handicap in the process, while Martin Robinson (72-4-78) was third on the card from fellow scratch team member, Gavin Stocker (69-1-68).
