Mytton Fold Golf Club held their Queen's Jubilee Trophy competition and subsequent barbeque in glorious weather on Sunday. A shotgun start got things underway with a full field of members hoping to win the various group trophies.
John Welch came out on top with an excellent 40 points, closely followed by Kevin Shanley on 38 points with Jim Hindle third, another two points in arrears. Division One was headed by Tony Wilson and Division Two by Steve Worrall, both on 35 points.

Lady Captain Maureen Board took the Ladies prize with 33 points, just one ahead of Linda Clegg; Tom Jarrod took the Juniors Section with 32 points.

Twos winners all came from at first hole, with Captain Ian Thomson, Keith Gill, Ted Bamborough and John Kwazneiwski all sharing the prize fund.

The fun on the course was followed by a barbecue where Keith Horam was declared the winner of the ball rolling competition, netting him a very substantial cash prize.
