VALLEY golfer Joshua Henderson has been crowned East Lancashire champion.
The best boys from across the East Lancashire Golf Association converged on Blackburn Golf Club for the Junior Championships.

And Ribchester golfer Joshua, a member at the Revidge club, carded a round of 74 to win the Scratch Cup.

The five-handicapper who attends Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Blackburn, has been playing golf since he was four.

And beating off around 70 other players to win the Scratch Cup is the undoubted highlight of the 14-year-old's golf career to date.
