GRAHAM Howarth was on top of his game to win Division One of the September Medal at Burnley Golf Club.
The one-handicapper returned a level-par 69 for a nett 68 to win on a card play-off from eight-handicapper John Sudall.

Club steward Chris Selby took time off from his duties to return 77-13-64 to win Division Two by two shots from Jonathon Connolly (78-12-66).

Terry Yardley (78-15-63) had the low round of the day to win Division Three by a shot from Alan Garner (81-17-64) and the Division Four prizes went to Paul Swaine (91-20-71) and Duncan Mudie (100-28-72).
