BURNLEY Golf Club won the prestigious Levens Cup against holders Towneley on Saturday.
The Glen View members were victorious at home, playing in blustery wind and torrential rain, by 19-6.
The father-and-son Todmorden Road pairing of Chris and Dominic Clough had the highest winning margin on the day as they prevailed 7 and 6.
There was a subsidiary competition at Towneley on the day with the in-form Stanley Boardman totalling 39 points to win by two from H. Clarke with A. Sedgwick (35) in third place.
