On a day when most of the field failed to complete due to heavy showers, Dave Rigby proved his mettle to win the Captain's Salver at Nelson.
His 69-3-66 saw him finish three clear of Ryan Curwen (77-8-65) with Sam Reeves (78-8-70) in third place. Martin Fraser (76) won the gross after a card play-off with Martin Spiers.

Andrew Hodson (85-27-68) won the D. T. Ingham Trophy by two shots from Howard Rigg (84-14-70), with Peter Simpson (86-15-71) in third place.
