Clitheroe Golf Club's Tony Flanagan and Andrew Henderson were at it again in the weekend fourball.
Forty-two points and a better back nine gave them first prize ahead of Steve Ackers and Tim Stanley.

Tony Bridge found partner Peter Dunn in top form and they claimed third prize with 41 points, one better than the card returned by Mark Ashworth and Granville Pilling.

Three knockout finals have been contested at Barrow Gardens.

Jonathan Dugdale beat Dave Wilson 3 and 2 to win the Castle Cup, and Simon Hale signed off with a 1-up victory to win the club singles.

The Men's Foursomes Final went to the wire when Malcolm Goldsworthy and Chris Smith finished 1-up against Tony McGibbon and Norman Fielding.

Sunday's Invitation Day at Clitheroe proved a real challenge on the blue course.

Early birds Brian Edmundson and T. Sear (Whipsnade Park) posted a 42-point target, which remained top of the list all day.

Paul Connolly brought in former member Rob Andrew (Whalley), and their 40-points return gave them second place by a point from Simon Swindells and S. Curtis (Pannal).

Gary Clarkson found two able partners in Nigel Clowes and four-handicapper Damien Durrant to win Clitheroe's three-man team event.

Their winning total of 77 points was matched by Steve Ackers, Tony Flanagan and Tim Stanley, who had to settle for second after cards.

John Naylor left the rest of the field trailing in his wake in the seniors' stableford.

His 41 points gave him a five shot margin over both Mike Ainsworth and Keith Pedder.
