IT was High Fives all round as the Seventh Annual Clitheroe Captain's/Lions Charity Day again proved to be an outstanding success.
Sponsored by Lexus, the event has now raised over £43,000 for local charities.
Courtesy of Clitheroe Golf Club, 35 teams of four competed for the prizes after breakfast in the clubhouse.

The Shackleton brothers earned their reward for generous sponsorship over the years by taking second prize with their Garden Centre team.
David Knowles led his Westbridge Developments team into third place after a card play-off on 88 points.
Peter Robinson and his Panthers were nearest the pin on the fifth, and tartan Jim Cameron took the individual prize for his tee shot resting on the pin at the tricky 17th.
Shackleton's John Wellock produced the straightest drive on the 12th, and 50 competitors won bottles of champagne during the day for their individual skills.
The prize table was boosted by generous contributions from club members, not least a case of Claret from John Haggerty.
Following dinner in the clubhouse, Lions' president Peter Harling and the captain presented the prizes.
The favourable comments from most competitors suggests another full entry next year when organisers Brian Cushing, Roger Willams and Peter Haworth hope to break through the £50,000 barrier.
