STEVE Brooks took the Champion of Champions title in the ultimate shoot-out at Mytton Fold Golf Club on Saturday.
Brooks, with a nett 70, took the overall honours in this end-of-season competition, open only to those members who have finished in the top two in events this season.

Mark Green came a very close second, just one stroke behind, with Bob Scott a further two strokes back.

The best of the rest played for the Duffers Cup. Best of the "duffers" was Duncan Rogers with a nett 72, two strokes ahead of Keith Gill and Mick Walsh, Keith taking the runner-up position on a card play-off.
