BURNLEY golfer Cathy Briggs had a hole-in-one at Nelson as she aced the par-three 11th hole.
And her dream shot helped her partner Anne Kendra to second spot in Ladies' Invitation Day.

They finished with 35 points to finish two behind Betty Dixon and Gerry Bates.

Third place went to Margaret Taylor and Sheila Parnham (35).
