LADY Captains Jean Alcock (Stonyhurst Park) and Pat Brennan (Clitheroe) combined well to amass 42 points and win the Ladies' Invitation Day at Stonyhurst.
Immediate past captain Sue Kirk, partnered Kath Bithell (Clitheroe) to second place, after a card play-off with the winners.

Janette Dowdy won the ladies' medal at Stonyhurst with a card of 93-25-68. That saw her finish one shot clear of Ann Hudson (102-33-69), who finished one ahead of Val Fairless (104-34-70).
