Bretherton is runaway winner
GUY Bretherton retained the Scratch Shield at Colne Golf Club by a seven-shot margin.
He carded rounds of 69 and 74 for a 143 total.
Paul Boothman was runner-up in both rounds with scores of 71 and 79 to finish second on 150.
Andrew Pinder (75) was third in the first round, and also third overall, as Brian Earnshaw (80) was third in the afternoon round.
