ADRIAN Lingard continued his excellent early season form by taking the Marsden Building Society Trophy in the first major competition at Marsden Park on Saturday with an impressive 44 points.
Paul Timberlake (41) took first place in the 0-11 category with Dave Walton (40) taking second by a point from Trevor Dickinson.

The 12-17 category winner was Brian Lord (40) with Martin Heap just beating off Larry Shaw on a card play-off after both amassed 39 points.

The 18-28 category was won by Andrew Forsyth (40) from Gary Wood (38) who took second on the card from Mick Bailey.

The ladies also played for the Marsden Building Society Trophy and the winner was Janet Kelly (38) from Julie Alderson (35) who edged out Cheryl Gorman on the card.
