A torch-lit parade through Towneley Park on Monday will commemorate the sacrifice made by more than 4,000 Burnley and Padiham soldiers during the First World War.
The parade will start at 9-45pm from Riverside car park to the war memorial and will be followed by a service of remembrance and two minute silence.
It will be filmed by the BBC as part of its commemoration programme to be broadcast live.
The event will also tie in with the nationwide Lights Out initiative encouraging everyone to turn off their lights at home from 10pm to 11pm, leaving a single light or candle.
Towneley Hall and Burnley Town Hall will also be lit by a single light.
