The pressure was on when builders at a period pub were tasked with removing a window over 100 years-old for use in a special memento.

Linda Hargreaves, landlady of The Woodman Inn, is planning to frame and treasure the only window to have the pub’s name engraved into the glass after having it taken out and replaced with double glazing.

Linda has run the inn with her husband Ken for the last seven years.
