People of all ages can step back into Christmas past at Clitheroe Castle Museum.
From today (December 20th) until Sunday, museum visitors will be invited to enjoy tales of a Victorian Christmas with the castle steward.
Visitors can drop in between 12-30 and 3-30 pm. Tickets are £3.85 for adults, £2 for concession, and include entry to the museum. Accompanied children go for free.
Rachel Jackson, museum manager at Clitheroe Castle, said: “Visitors will be greeted by a costumed Victorian maid and shown into the kitchen where they will be served a glass of port or non-alcoholic Christmas punch and a mince pie.
“Our Victorian steward, will welcome them and join them for a drink, before sharing his experience of Victorian Christmas traditions.
“The steward will then introduce his guests to the house, which is home to the museum.”
