YOUNG Pendle cricketers took part in four days of intensive coaching recently, organised by the area's community cricket coaches.
District coaches Danny Kegg and Richard Bedford put the players through their paces at Pendle Vale School, where they improved their cricketing skills.
"The new sports hall at Pendle Vale is first class and is a superb facility for the area," said Kegg.
They are now taking coaching into every school in the Pendle District, and will be holding cricket festivals in Nelson, Colne and West Craven in the coming weeks.
