JAMES Anderson helped guide England to their first away Test series win since 2005.
The 'Burnley Express' picked up eight wickets over the course of the three match series with New Zealand, to help the tourists to a 2-1 win.
And that was despite the tourists losing the opening Test in Hamilton.
Following that opening defeat, Anderson was one of two changes to the side for the second Test at Wellington's Basin Reserve, with Nottinghamshire's Stuart Broad also being drafted in to replace the outgoing pace attack of Steve Harmison and Matthew Hoggard.
And the changes reaped immediate rewards, with Anderson claiminng 7-130 in the second Test, including a five-wicket haul in the first innings, to level the series.
However, things did not quite go to plan for the former Burnley paceman in the final Test in Napier, as he only managed one wicket.
But the one wicket he did take was key, that of Daniel Vettori for 43 towards the end of the Kiwis' second innings , as he tried to paddle one through fine leg and was caught behind by Tim Ambrose.
And it helped England finally skittle their hosts for 431, to take the final Test by 121 runs.
Anderson didn't have the best of Tests, finishing with 1-153 from 24 overs, but he did enough over the course of the series oto put himself in contention for the return series against the Kiwis this coming summer.
