THE white rose is blooming faster than the red for a fast-expanding Burnley-based plumbers merchant chain.
James Hargreaves Ltd now has more branches on the east of the Pennines than it has back home.
Morley, near Leeds, has become the company's 12th Yorkshire store - one more than in the red rose county.
James Hargreaves Ltd, established in Burnley in 1968, has 10 branches and a main showroom in Lancashire.
But over the border, in addition to Morley, the firm has sites in Barnsley, Ossett, Halifax, Keighley, Skipton, Ilkley, Sheffield, Huddersfield, Brighouse, Garforth and Pontefract.
