LOCAL firms and the Jobcentreplus are reaching out to job hunters in an Employer Event.
People can go to the Rose Office, in Venice Street, to talk to employers and specialist advisers on Thursday (April 3rd), between 10 a.m and 2 p.m.

Event organiser Michelle Ellis said: "We want members of the community to come along to engage with the employers and hopefully find a job. All the firms involved have vacancies."

Some of the firms taking part are BCW Engineering, Veka, the Cloverleaf Group and Original Factory Shop. Job hunters can speak to advisers about child provisions, how their benefits are affected and the skills and experience needed.

The event is open to all. Creche facilities are available.
