Meanwhile, Burnley and Lowerhouse will meet once more following last weekend's double header which saw a share of the spoils.
The two sides will meet tonight in the Lancashire League's 20/20 competition at Turf Moor.

Nelson currently sit on top of the Group C table with eight points but both Burnley and the West Enders are waiting patiently in the wings to take that top
spot as they lie on six points.

Both sides lost to the group leaders while both have beaten Colne and Todmorden who are struggling at the bottom end of the table. Qasim Ali returns for Burnley's final Group C game.

And Lowerhouse will continue their push towards the top of the Thwaites Original Lancashire League on Sunday when they play host to East Lancs while Burnley travel to second bottom Bacup. Wickets pitched at 1-15 p.m.

The Turf Moor team and the West Enders will both be hoping for a repeat of last weekend's performances when they took a victory each after facing each other twice in an enticing derby.

Jonathan Finch enjoyed a successful return to the Lancashire League by helping his Lowerhouse side to a five wicket win on Saturday at Liverpool Road. The all rounder took 4-21 and then hit 39 at the top of the order.

Lowerhouse dropped down to fourth place on Sunday after an eight wicket defeat at Burnley. Bharat Tripathi did the damage, taking 6-58 to dismiss Lowerhouse for 135 on a good batting wicket.

Professional Jeeva Kulatunga also chipped in with 3-26 and hit a top-scoring 53 on the day.Elsewhere, second place Read look to overturn their recent form after losing their last four games in all competitions.

However, despite that dismal run they remain in a strong position and will look to build on that when they face Ribblesdale Wanderers at home in the Ribble Valley derby.

Fifth place Padiham can mathematically leapfrog into second place providing results go their way and they take maximum points when they face Clitheroe at Chatburn Road. Wickets pitched at 1-15 p.m. for both fixtures.

Padiham and Read will come face-to-face in the Veka Ribblesdale League 20/20 competition at Whalley Road tonight. Read currently lie second in Group 4 having taken four points from four games. Padiham have taken two points from two games.
