Golden Bowl line-up taking shape

The last 16 of the Steele Ford and Newton Solicitors Golden Bowl has been decided.
First and second round matches were played at four venues on Sunday.

And first round action sasw a prompt departure for defending champion Roger Hancock as he was beaten by Ken Musk.

And there are now some intriguing matches in the last 16.

That will be played at Barden on Sunday, May 31st.

And then the final line-up will have been decided for the first event under the new sponsorship of Steele, Ford and Newton Solicitors of Nelson.

The finals day itself has been scheduled for Sunday, June 14th, and will take place at Thomas Street Bowling Club in Nelson.
