THE Burnley and Pendle Ladies' Bowling League Doubles Competition at Marsden Park was won by Anne Hartley and Jackie Bennett of Towneley.
The pair beat Joyce Harrison and Pat Longrigg of Scott Park 21-15 in the final.
Earlier, the winners edged out Joan Schofield of Thomas Street and Marsden's Irene Cunningham 21-19 in the last four, while Joyce and Pat enjoyed a 21-19 win over Alice Kershaw and Joan Tranmer of Towneley.
