Witness plea after Brunshaw gang attack

A MAN was punched and kicked by a gang of youths as he walked along a Burnley street.
The incident happened in Brownhill Avenue, Brunshaw, at 9-40 p.m. on Saturday when the victim was approached by the group, who kicked and punched him to the ground before making off.

Police have arrested one youth in connection with the attack and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
