"Tiny" funeral takes place today

THE funeral of Kevin "Tiny" Donaghey takes place in Burnley this afternoon.
A Requiem Mass will be held at St Mary's RC Church in Yorkshire Street at 2-30 p.m. and the service will be followed by a burial at All Souls' Cemetery in Wheatley Lane Road, Barrowford.

Mr Donaghey (35), who was originally from Northern Ireland but had lived in Burnley for many years, was taken ill at his home in Paythorne Avenue on Monday, July 28th and was taken by ambulance to the Royal Blackburn Hospital.

He was transferred to Blackpool Victoria Hospital where he died the following day. Mr Donaghey is believed to have suffered a heart attack.
His family has asked that donations in his memory be made to Diabetes UK.
