Thieves escape with £35,000 haul

THIEVES broke into a house in Brunshaw Road, Burnley, and escaped with a £35,000 haul, including two cars, as the family slept.
The thieves struck between 3-30 a.m. and 6-30 a.m. today, forcing a back window to get into the house and steal a black Samsung 26in. LCD television, a black Samsung 40in. LCD television, Canon digital camera, HP 7195X laptop computer, three iPod nano MP3 players and an iPod docking system.

They also took car keys and stole a silver Renault Clio, registration number PNO7 XTM, and a black Volvo S40, with the registration number YP06 BTY.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Burnley police on 425001 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
