Teenager assaulted in unprovoked attack

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted at Burnley Bus Station.
The victim of the unprovoked attack was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital after being punched in the nose between 3-30 p.m.and 3-45 p.m. yesterday.

The offender is described as being white, 5ft. 8in. tall with a slim build, aged 16 or 17, with an unshaven appearance. He was wearing round lensed glasses, a baseball cap, grey hooded top and black Adidas tracksuit pants.
