AN inquest into the tragic death of a Burnley teenager killed when he was hit by a car on the M65 has been held amid calls from his family for more substantial barriers along stretches of motorway.
Burnley Coroner's Court has heard how Harrison Hartley (14) of Harling Street, Rosegrove, was hit by a red Volkswagen Polo on March 1st last year as he crossed the motorway under Rosegrove bridge, leaving him with multiple injuries.
