FAMILY and friends have today said their final farewells to brave Colne mum-of-two Julie Patefield, who died after contracting a virus following a bone marrow transplant.
Julie became a household name across East Lancashire as a campaign was launched to find a local match for her bone marrow so she could have a transplant after contracting leukaemia. A donor in America was eventually found.

Her funeral took place at St Michael and All Angels' Church in Foulridge at 11 a.m..
