POLICE in Burnley are hunting a gang of youths who caused £2,000-worth of damage to cars parked in Swindon Street over the weekend.
The vandals struck at 5-30 a.m. on Saturday and were spotted running over the roofs of four vehicles, including a purple Rover and a Mini Cooper, leaving them dented and scratched.

Police say the gang was made up of teenage boys and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Anyone with information should contact PC Andy Kent on 425001 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
