THE family and friends of a little Burnley girl who died last year from a rare form of stomach cancer are planning a series of events to keep her memory alive.
Paris Devlin died suddenly in August aged five, and now her aunt, Miss Tina Devlin, said the community is to design a memorial display as a fitting tribute to their "little princess."

The first event, a dance and drumming workshop, will take place on Saturday at Stoops and Hargher Clough Community Centre in Venice Street.
The workshop, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., will be followed by a performance.

At the second event between August 4th and August 6th, Paris' family and friends will work with a local artist to produce pictures, poems and other visual memories of her which they can use to make a memorial display.

The display will be unveiled at a special "princess party" to celebrate Paris' life on September 13th, close to what would have been her seventh birthday.

Seven pink helium balloons will be released on the party day to remember Paris, a pupil at Cherry Fold Primary School.
