POLICE in Burnley are hunting a gang of youths who set upon a 36-year-old man kicking and punching him to the ground.
The victim was attacked at 3-30 p.m. yesterday after leaving a chemists shop in Cog Lane.

Police say when he came out of the shop he had a row with the group of 15 and 16-year-old boys about his bike, which had been parked outside.

He was kicked and punched by more youths as he lay in the street.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Burnley police on 425001 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
