A FORMER Burnley man has died in Dorset after suffering a severe epileptic seizure.
Jason Biriny (29), known as Jason McClean when he lived in Burnley, died on July 16th.

The former Rosehill Junior School pupil moved to Eastbourne with his family when he was 12, having spent a year at Barden High School.

His devastated mother, Mrs Carole Smith, said her son was the life and soul of the party. "If he did something he had to do it big," she said. "He was a party animal. He did like the quiet side to life but he loved being the party animal, the life and soul of the party. He worked in bars for most of his life and had been working as a bar manager. He worked in Reading, Croydon and all over the place. He was always extremely busy."

When Jason was 11 he fell 40ft. from a tree and was in a coma for four days. "He had suffered from epilepsy all his life but we never expected anything like this," said his mum. "It was such a shock to everyone and it is still cutting me up now."

His girlfriend Katy Love, who he had been with for six years, said on a Facebook group set up in his memory he was the love of her life. She said: "I'm missing you like crazy. You were my whole life, my whole future. I'm so proud to have been your girlfriend for six wonderful years."

Jason also leaves his stepdad Carl, sister Michelle, grandma Nora and was the uncle of Chloe and Danny, as well as a nephew and cousin.

His cremation took place in Dorset.
