TEN drugs raids have been executed and seven arrests made as part of hard-hitting crime crackdown, Operation Facio.
The raids took place across Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale including one in Briercliffe Road, Burnley in which a 23-year-old man was arrested for possession with intent to supply a class A drug and possession of a class C drug.

A 34-year-old man was arrested in Burnley for possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of controlled class A drug and is in police custody awaiting interview.

And a 22-year-old woman was arrested in Nelson for possession with intent to supply class C drugs. She is in police custody awaiting interview.

Chief Insp. Stuart Noble, who is leading on Operation Facio, said: "The warrants were carried out following information received from the local community and concerns raised at Police And Communities Together (PACT) meetings.

"I also hope it sends a clear warning to other offenders. Drug-related crime is not welcome in our communities and neither the residents nor the police will tolerate it."

• If anyone has any information about drug-related criminality, whether it be drug dealing or details of people committing crime to fund a habit, contact Burnley police on 0845 1253545 or Crimestoppers, free and in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
