POLICE are hunting a man in connection with a burglary at a Burnley school.
The thief smashed a window at the rear of Barden Lane School at 4 a.m. and stole a Dell laptop valued at £400.

AN 84-year-old woman was targeted by thieves who stole eggs and fruit from her home.
The offenders jumped over a small garden wall and
forced open a window before stealing the £12-worth of goods.

THIEVES stole a Flymo lawnmower, a garden vaccum, a silver mountain bike, two adult fold-up bikes and an electric scooter from a shed in Warwick Drive, Padiham.
The combined value of the items was £475.

A BLACK mountain bike worth £200 was stolen from a house in Ruskin Street, Burnley.
The suspect, who was seen riding away on the bike, is described as a white man, 5ft. 6in. tall, slim build, around 16-years old with very short strawberry blonde hair and wearing a black hooded top.

A SELECTION of electrical equipment was stolen from a joiner's unit in Burnley.
Two Tritan orange routers, a circular orange saw, a chop saw, three black Trend routers and a petrol power washer were stolen from G. Smith Joiners in Edmund Street.
The items were valued at £1,570.

A BLUE Peugeot 206 was stolen from a Burnley garage after the offenders stole the keys.
The vehicle, worth £4,000, was later found abandoned in Accrington but the culprits took a Sony Eriksson mobile phone from inside.
Police are hunting two suspects in connection with the burglary at B and I Ltd Burnley in Cavour Street.

A GREEN Bosch electric drill, various screwdrivers, pliers and a black tool box were stolen from a property inn Burnley Road, Cliviger.
The tools were valued at £100.
