A THIEF helped himself to a flat screen television from the gymnasium at Turf Moor, Pennine magistrates heard.
Andrew George Purvis (29) told police he sold the £500 TV for £80. The defendant, who is currently in custody, was given a six-month conditional discharge.
Purvis, of Duke Street, Colne, admitted burglary.
