Classic cars on show at Towneley

VINTAGE cars aplenty are gearing up for Burnley's annual Classic Car Show this weekend.
Organised by the Pendle and District Rover Association, in conjunction with 2BR and Burnley Rotary Club, the show is expected to attract hundreds of classic cars to Towneley Park.

The elite of British, European and American motors will certainly have enthusiasts revved up for the event which will include famous names synonymous with motoring class.

Models on display will include Rolls-Royce, Daimler, Ford, MG, Jaguar, Chevrolet, Mercedes and Rover as well as a 1925 Maxwell 25C.

The show, which runs from 11 a.m. on Sunday, is expected to attract visitors from across the country.
