CLARETS fans can wear their colours with pride now the club has launched branded condoms.
Burnley Football Club and The Condom Collective are joining forces to try to make condoms more available, accessible and acceptable to young people in the region.
The club has agreed to promote sexual health through a range of club branded condoms, which will be handed out to supporters at Turf Moor at selected games this season.
Its promotion ensures the club are actively endorsing condom use among young people and hopefully helping to halt the rise in sexually transmitted infections, as well as preventing the spread of HIV and unwanted pregnancies.

Burnley Football Club's Darren Bentley said: "Due to the reported rise in STIs, there needs to be a radical and creative approach to 'normalising' condom use and we hope that as well as seeing the fun side, supporters will recognise the serious message behind using Burnley FC-branded condoms."
Condoms will be given out by a team of Brook Burnley staff as supporters leave Saturday's derby game with Preston North End at Turf Moor. The Condom Collective hopes people will offer a 50p donation towards further promotions.
Mr Gareth Beck, Young Men's Sexual Health and Risk Taking Behaviour worker, added: "The Condom Collective aims to remove barriers and maximise opportunities for young people to access appropriate services, so for Burnley Football Club to endorse condom use and be seen actively promoting positive sexual health puts them in the forefront of engagement with local partners and major national health initiatives."
