CASH, a mobile phone and camera were stolen from a house in Piccadilly Road, Burnley. The items were valued at £500.
A HANDBAG was stolen from behind the counter at the British Heart Foundation store, in St James's Street, Burnley. The incident took place between 2-30 p.m. and 3 p.m. yesterday.

POLICE in Burnley are warning residents of Grassington Drive to be vigilant following an attempted burglary which would have been the third break-in in two weeks. Police will be posting leaflets through doors in the area to highlight recent crimes.

THIEVES stole compressors and industrial tools valued at £1,000 from Cool UK in Cow Lane, Burnley.
