THIEVES broke into the Kettle Drum Inn in Red Lees Road, Cliviger.
They escaped with £600 in loose change from the bandit and £720-worth of cigarettes.


A SNEAK-THIEF stole a handbag and its contents worth £586 from a burnley fitness club. The bag was taken from the reception area at Angelz Fitness Club in St James's Street.


THIEVES stole £1,000-worth of metal boxes and some steel barrels from Lupton Smallshaw Ltd in Woodfield Mill, Trafalgar Street, Burnley.


A SAT-NAV. system worth £400 was stolen from a Ford Transit van parked in Lionel Street, Burnley.
