Burnley Crime File - January 28th

TWO lap-tops, two mobile phones, camcorder and cash cards were stolen from a house in Grassington Drive, Burnley.
The items were valued at £1,965.

A MAN is in custody in connection with a burglary at a house in Lydgate, Harle Syke. The burglary, in which a laptop and a handbag valued at £612 were stolen, is believed to have taken place between 4-30 a.m. and 6-30 a.m. on Saturday.


THIEVES stole a grey Vauxhall Astra, reg. no. PK55 AHC, valued at £8,000 from the driveway of a property in Horning Crescent, Burnley.
The culprits used a hook to steal the car keys from the house.


TWO bikes were stolen from a shed in the rear garden of a house in Brunshaw Avenue, Burnley. A man's blue and silver rally bike and a racing mountain bike were both taken by the culprits.


A RED Toyota Yaris was stolen from Harrogate Crescent, Burnley, when thieves used a hook to steal a set of keys from a house. The vehicle was valued at £6,000.


A CHILD'S blue and silver Explorer bike, valued at £100, was stolen from a shed in Lyndhurst Road, Burnley.


THIEVES stole £450 worth of phone cards from a shop in Brougham Street, Padiham.


A GREY Suzuki rally scooter, valued at £500, was taken from Ullswater Road, Burnley. The culprit hot wired the vehicle which was later found dumped nearby.
