AFTER a nervous wait, ecstatic students have received their degree results at Burnley College.
The results mark a culmination of years of hard work for many of the students and this year's graduates are part of a long line of students that have benefited from the successful degree programme partnership between Burnley College and UCLan.

Burnley College Higher Education Manager Mr Peter Mounsey said: "These students have put in a lot of hard work and effort to get to this stage of their education.

"Some will be moving on to further study while others will be moving into employment. I wish all of them the best of luck with their futures as they deserve all of their success."

A new university campus will open this summer ready for the next crop of students.

The new campus will offer 70 innovative and vocational programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level and students will be able to complete full honours degrees at the Burnley campus.

The UCLan campus is part of the new Princess Way building which also includes a sixth form centre, skills and adult centre and the university.

The campus will also house two key research centres in advanced manufacturing and social cohesion which will add important national and international dimensions to the UCLan campus in Burnley.
