A TEENAGER was subjected to a frightening ordeal when he was mugged by two men.
The 16-year-old boy was walking along Oak Street in the Gannow area of Burnley at 5-50 p.m. last Friday when he was pushed in the back, making him to fall to the ground, where he was robbed of a quantity of cash, a bag and house keys.

The victim reported earlier seeing two men, thought to be in their 30s, sitting on a wall close to the scene. One was of medium build and the other was stockily built.

Detectives are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the mugging to come forward. Anyone with information should call Burnley police on 425001 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
