BURNLEY Britain's Got Talent star Hollie Steel returned to school this week where she was welcomed by rapturous applause from classmates.
The 10-year-old singing sensation, who wowed judges on the hit ITV show last weekend, has captured hearts around the world and created an international media frenzy.
She has given dozens of interviews to national and local media, had television crews charting her every move and has even been featured on top American entertainment programme "The Insider."
But the crowd that greeted Hollie as she walked through the gates of Oakhill College, Whalley, was just as appreciative as the audience who gave her a standing ovation for her rendition of "I Could Have Danced All Night" from "My Fair Lady".

It was really really nice for Hollie. We're definitely getting better at giving interviews and I think Hollie's really enjoying the attention she's been getting since the show."
And while Hollie, Nina (37), dad Jason (38) and brother Joshua (15) moved from Longton Road, Burnley, to Huncoat three years ago, Nina (37) an NHS audiologist, said they still consider themselves a Burnley family.
"We'd love to have the support of people in Burnley. We see ourselves as Burnley people and we do our shopping in Burnley."
Hollie, a member of Basics Theatre Group in Burnley and played the title role in their production of "Annie" in December, has said her dream would be to sing on the West End stage.
The talented youngster, who has been dancing since the age of three, stunned "Britain's Got Talent" judges Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden and reduced Kelly Brook to tears with her performance to go through to the next round of the show.
