Even though i was listening to the match from Germany courtesy of my cousin Lee calling me and placing his mobile next to his radio in Burnley, i still sreamed the roof off the train i was in when we won.
Of course, Cup upsets happen all of the time, but to beat Chelsea in such a fasion, away from home, after exta time, on penalties, means more than words can describe. Hopefully now this has given the team and the fans the belief in what we can achieve, because skill alone is not enough, belief that we can use our skill to win and determination to keep going untill the very end are the all deciding factors.
Now is the time to have our head in the clouds and dream about reaching the top level of football where we should be, but its definately the time to keep our feet well and truly on the ground and treat approach every game with the passion, skill and tanacity that we did last night. Well done Burnley FC and well done the hordes of travelling fans, you made us all proud and you made my year!

Well at last Burnley are starting to reap the rewards for all there hard work, i've always believed very strongly that this in time will happen, and after the Chelsea match they've proved me right, but even that if i'm honest exceded my expectationg,i would have been content with just a good performance from the lads, but what they did was beyong belief, they were teriffic and they made me feel absoluty proud to be a loyal Claret, bear in mind that that was Chelsea's second home loss in Four years, makes it the perfect fairy tale it really was what dreams are made of.
I wish the Lads and all at Burnley Football club the very very best for this season, and like Owen i just hope they keep there feet on the floor and just take each game as it comes, think of the reaction from knocking out CHELSEA, and how they'll will all feel when they take on ARSENAL, playing like they did they can give anyone a very very good game.Im so proud of OWEN and the LADS, i've known all along what they were capable of and THAT THEY WOULD BE REWARDED FOR THERE SUPREME EFFORT. iCING ON THE CAKE,a brilliant away win over Q P R, and a fantastic Robbie Blake strike to come from behind, and then an a superb strike from Mahon to give us another three points.
I can't praise you enough lads, you've really shown true Spirit, you must be knackered, many thanks for all your effort and for the UNBELIEVABLE WEEK THAT YOU'VE GIVEN ME AND I'M SURE EVERYONE ELSE, the last time i felt this good was when we won the CHAMPIONSHIP IN 1960, THATS HOW GREAT YOU ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE.
UP THE CLARETS.
