OWEN Coyle will finally hope to have Peru international keeper Diego Penny available for his sides' Scotland trip.
Visa delays prevented Penny from linking up with the squad for the Railhawks game, and it was anticipated the 24-year-old would join his new team-mates last weekend.

A further hitch meant he was the scheduled to meet up with the tour party in Blaine for the Minnesota match, but that was not possible, and Penny awaits his first appearance for the club, with Martin Paterson, Kevin McDonald, Christian Kalvenes and Remco van der Schaaf all having made their bows in the States.

Brian Jensen featured in both the 2-1 defeat against Cary Railhawks and the 2-0 win over Minnesota Thunder, after Gabor Kiraly was left at home due to visa problems.

Meanwhile, Coyle and Sandy Stewart take their side to see some familiar faces and places in a three-game stay north of the border, which takes in trips to UEFA Cup qualifiers Queen of the South on Saturday, Partick Thistle on Monday, and the pair's former club St Johnstone on Wednesday.

An exhaustive warm-up schedule then sees Burnley return south to face neighbours Accrington Stanley a week tomorrow at the Fraser Eagle Stadium, before moving on to Belfast and Glentoran the following Monday, and then back to Bradford City's Coral Windows Stadum on the Wednesday.

And Coyle admitted to looking forward to returning to Scotland, after a successful exercise in America: "Now we move on to bonny Scotland.

"It doesn't stop, but we knew when we set out it was going to be difficult.

"The aim is to get the lads ready for August 9th and that's what we want to continue to do."
