MARATHON man Graham Alexander picked up his 38th Scotland cap in the 3-0 defeat against Holland in Amsterdam on Saturday.
The 37-year-old started for George Burley's side in the Amsterdam Arena, his 57th game of the season, as goals from Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Robin van Persie and Dirk Kuyt saw the Dutch finish comfortable winners.
Alexander, who has played every minute of Burnley's season to date, played the first 73 minutes before being replaced by Tottenham's £9m. man Alan Hutton, who is returning from injury.
He will hope for a 39th cap tomorrow night as Scotland take on Iceland
Rhys Williams, who was with Wales for their clash with Finland at the Millennium Stadium, wasn't named in the 18-man matchday squad for the 2-0 defeat.
John Toshack's side take on Germany, again at the national stadium, tomorrow night.
Besart Berisha, currently on loan at Danish side AC Horsens, started for Albania as they lost 1-0 to Hungary in Tirana, collecting his 13th cap.
One Claret was on the winning side, as Kevin McDonald helped Scotland Under 21s beat Albania 1-0 in Elbasan.
