KEVIN McDonald earned Burnley a deserved point at Manchester City.
The midfielder netted in the dying moments of the game to salvage a first point away from Turf Moor.

Graham Alexander put the Clarets ahead from the spot when Jolean Lescott handled a Tyrone Mears cross.

Steven Fletcher doubled the lead, tapping into an open net after a delightful ball across the box from Chris Eagles.

Shaun Wright-Phillips got City back into the game when his shot took a deflection of Steven Jordan before Kolo Toure equalised just after half-time.

Craig Bellamy then put the hosts ahead beating Jensen after great work from Wright-Phillips.

But Kevin McDonald on as a substitute had the final say, a floated ball from Nugent found Steven Fletcher at the far post who headed back across goal for McDonald to place past Shay Given.
