BURNLEY lose out in what could be a costly defeat to Wolves.
Despite having the better starting the better of the two teams, the Clarets fell behind when Tyrone Mears' weak headed back pass to Brian Jensen fell in to the path of Jarvis who knocked the ball around Jensen and into the empty net.

Burnley fell even further behind at the start of the second half when a shot from Guedioura which looked to be going wide deflected of Clarke Carlisle and past a wrong footed Jensen.

Burnley did get a goal back when a Graham Alexander effort was re-directed by the head of Steven Thompson for his first Premier League goal.

The Clarets pressed for an equaliser but the Wolves defence held firm and went away from Turf Moor with three points.
