THE anxious wait is over for Clarets fans who have been speculating about the fixture list for next season.
With the first match seeing the Clarets away from Turf Moor, taking on Stoke on August 15th - just two short months away - there's a dream clash for the first home match of the seaon on August 18th, when Burnley hosts none other than champions Manchester United.

And there's no let-up for Owen Coyle's team as just four days later - on August 22nd - mighty Everton make the trip from Merseyside to Turf Moor before the Clarets take the road to London on August 29th to take on Chelsea once again.

Into September, with the nerves of the first Premiership clashes hopefully settled, the Clarets head for Liverpool on September 12th before playing host to Sunderland on September 19th and heading to take on Tottenham on September 26th.

Following their home clash with Birmingham on October 3rd, the long-awaited meeting with Blackburn at Ewood Park is scheduled for October 17th, before the month ends with Turf Moor matches against Wigan and Hull on October 24th and 31st.

A quieter November sees the Clarets away to Manchester City on November 7th and West Ham on November 28th, slotting in a home match against Aston Villa on November 21st.

December, however, sees the fixtures coming thick and fast for Owen Coyle's men, kicking off with a long trip to play Portsmouth on December 5th. Home matches against London opponents Fulham and Arsenal follow just days apart on December 12th and 15th, before the Clarets take to the road to take on Wolverhampton on December 19th. Christmas fixtures see the Clarets at home to Bolton on Boxing Day and at Goodison Park playing Everton on December 28th.

In 2010, the Clarets first match is against Stoke, at home, followed by the Clarets heading to Old Trafford on January 16th to take on the powerful Manchester United, finishing the month off with clashes with Bolton away on January 26th and Chelsea at home on January 30th.

In February, four matches see the Clarets away to Arsenal on the 6th; home to Wolverhampton on the 13th; away to Wigan on the 20th and at home to Portsmouth on the 27th.

However, it's March that will, no doubt provide a high point in the season's calendar when the Clarets greet old rivals Blackburn Rovers to Turf Moor on March 27th. Before that long-awaited clash, however, there are away matches to Arsenal (March 6th) and Wigan (March 20th), as well as a home match against Wolves (March 13th) to get under the belt.

The following month, April, sees the Clarets in home action against Manchester City on the 3rd; travelling to Hull on the 10th and Sunderland on the 17th; before ending the month at home to Liverpool on the 24th, in what promises to be an exciting match.

As the season draws to a close, the Clarets make the trip South to Birmingham on May 1st before ending their Premiership campaign at home to Tottenham on May 9th.
